Marketplace Co-Op Officially Open in Downtown Disney Marketplace at Walt Disney World Resort

I’m thrilled to announce that the Marketplace Co-Op is now officially open in Downtown Disney Marketplace at Walt Disney World Resort. First announced in November 2013 on the Disney Parks Blog, this new merchandise destination will serve as a testing space for new Disney retail concepts, shops and products.

Located next to Tren-D, Marketplace Co-Op will offer six different boutiques containing a variety of unique, authentic and original merchandise developed especially for Disney Parks, including the following:

  • Beautifully Disney – A beauty destination for women, featuring make-up, fragrances and beauty accessories.
  • Cherry Tree Lane – Accessories for the sophisticated woman with a passion for scarves, shoes, bags and jewelry.
  • D-Tech on Demand – A place to personalize and customize your own electronic accessories.
  • The Trophy Room – Vintage-inspired lifestyle sports apparel and collectibles.
  • Disney Centerpiece – Home product for guests that want a splash of Disney in their room furnishings, textiles and everyday ware.
  • Zoey and Pickles – A girls’ destination containing the latest trends and glamour for the up-and-coming fashionista.

Today, we are also launching an online version of the Marketplace Co-Op via the Disney Parks online store at DisneyStore.com/MarketplaceCoOp. This online boutique will contain select items from Cherry Tree Lane, Disney Centerpiece and Beautifully Disney.

I also invite you to join us on Saturday, June 14 when world-renowned Celebrity DJ Pauly D will be appearing in the Marketplace Co-Op from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. to sign his line of DJ Pauly D™ headphones from SMS Audio.

Comments

  • Any chance the beauty and the beast as well as the magic kingdom map items will still be on sale in September? As I am travelling to WDW all the way from the UK and love those plates! Many thanks!

  • Got the e-mail that first announced these new lines and immediately pounced on some of the goodies, since I needed some glasses anyway. What impressed me when I received my glass mugs and regular glasses was that they were made in the USA. They are well made and I love the designs they used on them. My particular focus was on the Haunted Mansion, my fave ride, but I love the 20,0000 Leagues Under the Sea glass mug.
Love these new things that have been developed. I’m debating whether to go for the new dessert plates that have Mickey on them, but I’d actually rather splurge on some with the famous castle on them – as I have a couple of vintage Disneyland tea cups and saucers and like to have scones with my tea.
    Keep up the beguiling developments!

  • I don’t see the new Dooney and Burke downtown purse that you said they were going to have? It’s not in the online store either?

    Terry

    • @Terry – I’m sorry for the challenge. I learned today that the online store version hasn’t launched yet. It will be coming in a couple of weeks. The version at the Marketplace Co-Op was in the location as most recently as yesterday morning. I held it in my hands 🙂

  • Will they be bringing back the Monorail Collection of Hotels and attractions?

    • @Merry – I don’t believe there are plans for that at this time.

  • This place looks awesome Steven! Is there any plans to expand the D Tech items for more Android phones, Motorola in particular ?
    Hello from Cbus! GO BUCKS!

    • @Christine – I’ve not heard specific details for that but I know that the D-Tech on Demand machine gives us lots of flexible options. Stay tuned for a future Disney Parks Blog story about this specific boutique.

  • My wallet is not gonna know what hit it when I get done in the Centerpiece section! So glad to see so much attraction and parks-related stuff, it’s all fantastic!

  • any chance the mary poppins merchandise will be available online?

    • @Colleen – I don’t know of any immediate plans for such a thing to happen.

  • Where in Disneyland will this merchandise be located? Especially the trashcan S&P shakers? I’ll be there next week.

    • @Richard – I hope you have a great trip! You may find select items in Adventureland Bazaar in Disneyland park, Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure Park or World of Disney in Downtown Disney District.

Currently, it appears that those shakers are not available at Disneyland Resort. You could find them at the Marketplace Co-Op in Florida but you aren’t headed that way. So the next option would be to contact our Merchandise Guest Services team – 877-560-6477 or by email at
Merchandise.Guest.Services@DisneyParks.com – and reference these item numbers:

      Tomorrowland – 400008249584
      Fantasyland – 400008249591
      Adventureland – 400008249614
      Frontierland – 400008249607

  • Was the collegiate WDW merchandise not released today?

    • @Jonathan – Those items were released at The Trophy Room in the Marketplace Co-Op at Downtown Disney Marketplace. I took many photographs of them this past week. There are no immediate plans, however, to carry them on our Disney Parks online store.

  • Steven!

I NEED the item numbers for all the new Vera Bradley! Can you tell me what they are for each item?

    Thanks!

    • @Rebecca – The Cherry Tree Lane location currently carries all five colors from the Disney Collection by Vera Bradley. As you can imagine, that’s a lot of item numbers to share. I’m curious if you are trying to order them via our Merchandise Guest Services team. At this time, that team may not have access to those items. The other option would be to visit http://www.DisneyStore.com/VeraBradley. That site contains only select colors (not the newest colors released yesterday).

  • Any chance the Disney Vera Bradley patterns, Bouncing Bouquet, will be carried in the online Disney Store website? I am really hoping yes, especially with the online version of the Marketplace Co-Op that appeared today. If yes, is there any kind of timeline you can give us for when either pattern will show up online?

    • @Lauren – I don’t know of any immediate plans for this to happen. They may revisit that at a future point.

  • ^Richardo: Much of this merchandise is, and has been, available for Disneyland for several weeks now. I was there on May 19 and June 1.

    • @Patti – Thank you! 🙂

  • I lucked out and was there for the ribbon cutting and grand opening this morning (with Mickey). The store is great, so many fun things. I’m thrilled with my new Vera Bradley bag in P
    Perfect Petals!

    • @Amy – Glad you were able to stop by today. 🙂

  • I will be at WDW on Tuesday and was hoping the Co-op would be open. Can’t wait!!

  • Will this merchandise be available at Disneyland? Are any of the pieces limited editions?
    Thanks.

    • @Ricardo – Yes, many of the Disney Centerpiece items were released at Disneyland Resort. Some of the other items for Zoey & Pickles, Beautifully Disney and Cherry Tree Lane may also be there. Nothing is really limited edition in the shop.

  • I’m heading to WDW this weekend and am so excited to shop at Disney Centerpiece, this is going to be a great unexpected bonus for my trip!!!

  • Thanks for the article Mr. Miller! I noticed as well that the online Disney Store has a special page for the Co-Op merch…love that. Now I hope that the trash can salt and pepper shakers make there way back to the shelves at Centerpiece and/or online!!

    • @Patti – I was at the Marketplace Co-Op today and there were many of the trash can salt & pepper shakers available. They may return to the online story but I don’t have a date at this point.

  • Yea! I was so excited when I saw the new merchandise this morning. I wanted to ask– will this be all of what we’ll see online from Disney Centerpiece or can we look forward to additional online merchandise from there in the future (I hope)?

I ask because I missed the brick and mortar opening by a week– I was so bummed!

    • @Jennifer – I know new items are typically added on Mondays. I would invite you to check back as we may add additional things or additional inventory in the future.

  • Any chance the Vera Bradley Perfect Petals collection will be available on the online store? I love that print and have been waiting to see if it will be released online.

    • @Andrea – This may happen but I don’t have exact confirmation when at this point.

  • Welcome back “Disney At Home”! I missed that store.

I was really surprised to see all of the merchandise online this morning. Two questions: when will the Orange Bird juice glass set be available? I noticed the product page is up (on mobile) but the item isn’t available.. Also, will the Aloha Isle glass be available online?

    • @Jonathan – Great questions. Unfortunately, I don’t have an exact timeline as to what items are added and when. I know that new things are typically added on Mondays. The other option in our Merchandise Guest Services team. Here are the item numbers:

      Orange Bird pitcher – 400008398695
Orange Bird Set of 4 glasses – 400008398701
      Aloha Isle glass – 400008296540
